UX Research & Product Design

Hi, I'm Suruchi.

A UX researcher and designer with a background in psychology and a deep interest in how people think, feel, and interact.

I recently completed a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction & User Experience at Drexel University, where I learned to blend research, strategy, and design to create meaningful, human-centered solutions.

UX became the perfect blend of empathy, strategy, and creativity, a space where I could read minds (almost literally!) and turn insights into solutions that empower people. Whether it's improving healthcare systems, where my background gives me a unique edge, or designing digital and physical products that remove barriers, I thrive on crafting experiences that feel intuitive and meaningful.

My work is grounded in behavioral science, and I bring a research-first mindset to every project. I'm especially drawn to complex, impact-driven domains like healthcare, where understanding cognition and behavior helps me design intuitive, accessible experiences.

I'm always honing my skills through hands-on projects, conducting research, building prototypes, running usability tests, and constantly iterating. I enjoy connecting the dots between what users need and how design can serve them better.

I'm excited to collaborate on work that values clarity, empathy, and critical thinking, projects that push boundaries and solve real problems. Let's create experiences that matter, whether in pixels or the real world. 🚀

My Journey

Psychology → HCI → UX

I started with Psychology because I was interested in people and behavior. HCI gave me a way to translate that curiosity into products. UX lets me observe how people behave, ask why, and then design something better.

  1. 2018

🔍 First love: the human mind.

I fell for psychology hard, curious about thoughts, behavior, the whole mental maze. Therapist dreams? Totally. But life had other plans... and I'm glad it did.

  2. 2023

    🧠 Psych degree, plot twist.

Graduated in psychology, thinking I'd do therapy. But the more I learned, the more I realized: I'm obsessed with how people think, not just how they heal. Cue my pivot to design-thinking and problem-solving on a bigger scale.

  3. 2024

    💡 Design meets behavior.

I made the leap into Human-Computer Interaction and UX, because why not mix science, empathy, and creativity to design things that actually make sense to humans?

  4. 2025

🎓 Graduated with my Master's in HCI & UX.

Walked away from Drexel with a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction & User Experience, and a portfolio full of research, prototypes, and a much clearer sense of the kind of designer I want to be.

Outside of UX

Curiosity doesn't switch off, it just changes gears.

I'm probably wandering around with my camera, chasing sunsets or cool buildings. Or I'm trying a new café, reading something intriguing, vibing to a playlist that's all over the place, or romanticizing life while taking way too many photos of flowers, food, and city streets.
